Join the Palestine Solidarity Campaign in keeping up pressure on governments and companies to get justice for people living in the Occupied Palestinian Territories (OPT).

One of the Palestine Solidarity Campaign actions at the moment is getting products in supermarkets that are from illegal Israeli settlements in OPT properly labelled.

Labelling produce that comes from the Occupied Palestinian Territories as produce of the “West Bank” misleads the consumer. The vast majority, if not all, produce that comes from the West Bank, comes from illegal Israeli settlements. Very little, if any, produce that comes from Palestinian farms makes it to supermarkets in the UK.

This unlawful practice must be stopped. It denies consumers informed choices between Palestinian goods, of which there are almost none, and illegal settlement goods. For consumers to make ethical choices, settlement goods must be clearly labelled as settlement produce and thereby set apart from Palestinian produce.

We need to keep up the pressure on Waitrose and put pressure on other supermarkets where the "West Bank" label has appeared - Sainsbury's and Tesco - to get them to tell us the truth about where their products are from. Go here to find out more and join the campaign.
