
It's so easy to just see this image as a map [2], another bunch of stats for us to gloss over. But I can't do that any longer. I spent the last two weeks in Kenya, and saw first-hand how climate change is affecting people that haven't contributed nearly half the CO2 emissions any one of us have. I witnessed families plant seeds and pray for rain so they'd be able to eat, and driving past numerous cracked, dry river beds... This isn't just a map to me any more, these are millions of lives lost because we didn't think it was important, as we carried on moaning about the tube being late again...
