Vakhegula Vakhegula is not your average Football team. These fiesty females, who's oldest player is aged 83, say that soccer has given them their lives back

With the fast approaching World Cup 2010 taking place in South Africa many people are catching football fever looking to take part in the festivities in any way that they can and the pensioners are no exception. Vakhegula Vakhegula means "grannies" in the local language Xitshonga. These women may be old, but they play with the passion of youngsters. One of the mid-fielders is nicknamed Maradona, after the international football star.
